We tend to focus on flowers in our gardens, but plants with colorful foliage are great additions to gardens. Foliage is a constant presence and a great way to add consistent color to gardens. Newly Noir has deep purple to black foliage and is a wonderful plant for both sunny and shady spots. It grows up to three and a half feet tall, perfect for the middle to back of the bed and it makes a great thriller in combination recipes. I also love planting coleus in mono-crop pots.
